Re-Defining Refining (Let’s make Backlog Refinement Meetings Engaging and Successful)

Re-Defining Refining WebinarScrum has grown up and what was formally casually called “Backlog Grooming” is now called “Backlog Refinement”. Many Scrum teams have a regular meeting scheduled on everyone’s calendar, even though it is not an official Scrum event. Backlog Refinement is not time-boxed, nor does the Scrum Guide has any details listed, for good reasons.

In this webinar, we will explore why so many teams struggle with this meeting and why the boundaries between spec-writing, sprint planning and problem solving are often getting so blurry in Backlog Refinement. More importantly, let’s take a look at some facilitation techniques that make backlog refinement more engaging, fun and effective.  Register here for the event scheduled for August 13th at 10am Eastern.
