Chase is awarding 10,000 bonus points to Southwest Rapid Rewards credit cardholders who refer others for any personal Southwest card or the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Business Credit Card. The bonus points are only available once the referred applicant is approved. You can earn up to 50,000 bonus points through referrals per year.
Here’s how it works.
Refer a friend
Chase makes it easy to refer friends either online or through the Chase app. Send your friends your unique referral link and you will receive bonus points if your friends are approved for any of the following cards:
Your friends do not have to get the exact same card that you have. As long as it’s one of the Southwest credit cards above, you will receive bonus points for their successful applications.
Bonus points
You can earn bonus points for up to five friend referrals in a calendar year. The points should post to your account up to eight weeks after each new cardholder’s approval. These bonus points accelerate your earnings to get award flights and possibly the coveted Southwest Companion Pass, which allows a buddy to fly with you for only the price of taxes and fees.
If you were to max out your friend referrals for the year, the 50,000 bonus points you’d receive would get you almost halfway to the 110,000 Rapid Rewards points you need for a Southwest Companion Pass.
