Hyatt credit card holders already have impressive points earning power when they stay at Hyatt properties. Now for a limited time, they can earn a $50 statement credit, too, by spending at least $300 with Hyatt Place or Hyatt House.
Like many hotel promotions, this one requires World of Hyatt members to register before they start making qualifying purchases. The promotion runs from Oct. 1, 2019, to Jan. 5, 2020.

There are more than 380 Hyatt Place and Hyatt House locations in the U.S. and Canada, which may sound like a lot — but once you choose a destination to visit, you might not find a property that’s part of this offer.
If you do find a Hyatt Place or Hyatt House that meets your needs, then this deal is pretty sweet for World of Hyatt members, considering holders of The World Of Hyatt Credit Card will earn you 9 points per dollar spent at Hyatt properties on top of the $50 statement credit.
For cardholders, this offer is like spending $250 to get 2,700 points. That’s more than half of the points needed to get a free standard award night at a Category 1 hotel.
World of Hyatt points are the most valuable in the entire hotel loyalty program ecosystem, according to NerdWallet’s valuations. On average, we found each point is worth 1.7 cents, which is about double the value you’ll get from the second-most-valuable hotel loyalty program currency, Marriott Bonvoy points (NerdWallet found these to be worth about 0.8 cents each on average).
